Safety and trust
A fair exchange starts with clear information.
Sattapatta combines user responsibility with verification signals, structured records, reporting, and moderation.
Before making an offer
- Read the full condition description and ask about defects.
- Check current photos and the user’s exchange history.
- Do not rely on screenshots of identity or payment documents.
- Keep important agreement details in Sattapatta’s structured offer record.
Meeting safely
- Meet in a busy public location during daylight.
- Tell someone where you are going.
- Inspect and test the item before confirming completion.
- Never share your home address publicly.
Payments and delivery
Do not send large advance payments to unknown users. Use supported protected-payment or delivery processes when available. Cross-border exchanges require additional caution about shipping, customs, prohibited goods, and dispute enforcement.
Reporting
Users will be able to report unsafe listings, counterfeit goods, harassment, fraud, prohibited items, and suspicious behaviour. Immediate physical danger or a crime should be reported to the appropriate local authority.
