Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account or using an account feature, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter the exchange you propose. A parent or lawful guardian must supervise anyone who cannot legally agree for themselves.

We may update these terms when the service or law changes. Material changes will be communicated through the service or the account email before they take effect where reasonably possible.

Sattapatta's role

Sattapatta provides discovery, listing, offer, auction, communication and trust tools. Unless a feature expressly says otherwise, Sattapatta is not the owner, buyer, seller, auctioneer, payment processor, carrier, animal caretaker or party to an exchange. We do not hold funds or guarantee an item, user, outcome, delivery or adoption.

Accounts and security

Keep your account and recovery methods secure, use only your own identity, and tell us promptly about suspected misuse. Do not create deceptive accounts, evade a restriction, scrape private data, probe security controls, automate abusive activity or interfere with the service. We may require verification appropriate to a feature or risk.

Listings and user content

You must have authority to offer what you list. Descriptions, photos, condition, location and material defects must be honest. You retain ownership of your content and give Sattapatta a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, resize, display and distribute it only to operate, protect and promote the marketplace. You may end this licence by deleting the content, subject to legal, safety, backup and dispute records that must be retained.

Prohibited activity

Illegal, stolen, counterfeit, dangerous, recalled, exploitative or rights-infringing goods and services are prohibited. Weapons, controlled substances, prescription medicines, identity documents, financial products, sexual services, trafficking, wildlife and other regulated or high-risk categories require explicit platform approval or remain prohibited. Do not harass, discriminate, manipulate bids, make false reports or move a user off-platform to commit fraud.

Offers, auctions and completion

Review the item, any cash adjustment, handover method and timing before accepting. A bid or accepted offer may create obligations between users under applicable law; Sattapatta does not decide whether a private agreement is legally enforceable. Do not confirm completion before inspection and handover are finished. Auctions must not use fake bids, coordinated bidding or undisclosed conflicts.

Giveaways and adoption

Giveaways must be genuinely free except for clearly disclosed, lawful delivery costs. Adoption tools are for responsible rehoming, not animal sales or breeding. Applicants and caretakers remain responsible for welfare checks, suitability, records, licences, veterinary needs and compliance with local law. Sattapatta may restrict these features or require additional review.

Fees and advertising

Basic use may be free, but we may introduce clearly disclosed optional paid features, promoted placements, advertising or business services. A price and the applicable terms will be shown before a charge is accepted. Advertising must be identifiable and does not constitute Sattapatta's endorsement.

Moderation, suspension and disputes

We may investigate reports, limit reach, remove content, cancel platform actions, suspend accounts, preserve evidence or cooperate with lawful requests to protect users and the service. We will use reasoned, proportionate action where practicable. Support may help users preserve records or communicate, but does not replace courts, regulators, law enforcement or professional advice.

Service availability and responsibility

The service is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, Sattapatta is not responsible for indirect loss or conduct, goods, services or agreements between users. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Courts or authorities with lawful jurisdiction may hear a dispute. Sattapatta is operated by its platform operator in Nepal. Questions and complaints can be sent to support@sattapatta.com.
